Available Volunteers opportunities at PMI Northern Alberta chapter:

Director Board Support
The Director Board Support is primarily responsible for Board meeting logistics, including agenda preparation in consultation with the President (or designate), taking Board meeting minutes and arranging catering, if applicable. The Director Board Support is also responsible for taking minutes for the Annual General Meeting.

Eblast-publisher Director

To help the chapter "Push" certain time-sensitive information via an eBlast. The eBlast Publisher may take the end-to-end responsibility for formatting and publishing an eBlast or provide proof-reading support.

Director - Project of the Year
Lead the Project of the Year Initiative.

Director Ops Committee Support - PMINAC

The Director Operations Committee Support is primarily responsible for Operations Committee meeting logistics, including agenda preparation in consultation with the President Elect (or designate), taking Operations Committee meeting minutes and arranging catering, if applicable.  PDUs may be earned per PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR).

Dinner Director - PMINAC

The Dinner Meeting Director is primarily responsible for managing the Dinner Meetings, including agenda preparation in consultation with the all portfolios to ensure Business Agenda is prepared, Dinner meeting location and tasks associated with dinner meeting registrations and support during the dinner meeting. This position supports the VP Programs to provide successful dinner meetings for our PMINAC Members and guests.  PDUs may be earned per PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR).

    1. View the VRMS Guide for detailed instructions on how to use the system.
    2. Log into the VRMS using your PMI.org username and password.
    3. Update your volunteer profile by uploading your resume, updating your volunteer service history, and checking off your areas of interest.
    4. Search and apply for opportunities that meet your interests and needs.
    5. You will receive email notifications when new opportunities are posted that match your interests. Once you apply, you will receive email notifications regarding the status of your application.
