Embedding Agile, Technology, and Change Management in a Sustainable PMO
The second session in this two-part series will take place on April 29, continuing the momentum toward
the May conference, “Building Resilience in Alberta: Innovation Rooted in Strength.” This session offers a
deeper exploration of how Project Management Offices can enhance organizational performance by
intentionally embedding Agile ways of working, leveraging enabling digital technologies, and applying
structured change management practices. It will examine how PMOs can move beyond traditional
oversight roles to become strategic partners that drive adaptability, innovation, and measurable business
value.
With a focus on balancing innovation and discipline, the session highlights the critical role of strong
governance frameworks, proactive stakeholder engagement, and a consistent approach to benefits
realization. Attendees will gain practical insights into how to align delivery with organizational strategy,
foster a culture of continuous improvement, and build a sustainable PMO capable of responding to an
increasingly complex and fast-evolving business environment.
