About the RMP Exam

Our study group will provide practical insights into the “what” and “how” of risk management. The PMI-RMP exam now covers agile, hybrid environments, and enterprise-level risks relevant to all project managers. A copy of the RMP Exam Content Outline is available for your use. This guide is essential for preparing for the PMI-RMP® exam and covers all 5 domains of the risk management lifecycle as specified by the exam content outline by PMI: 

  1. Risk Strategy and Planning 
  2. Risk Identification
  3. Risk Analysis 
  4. Risk Response
  5. Monitor and Close Risks

What is the PMINAC RMP Study Group?

The PMINAC Study Group hosts multi-week sessions to help you prepare for the PMI-RMP Certification Exam (PMI-RMP®). The Study Group is hosted and facilitated by PMINAC volunteers who have already obtained their PMI-RMP® Certification and have experience in project management, specializing in risk management.

How does it work?

Over several weeks of the study group, PMINAC volunteer facilitators will guide the group by helping participants clarify concepts through active engagement and discussion. The facilitators will deliver overview presentations on the fundamentals of the PMI-RMP certification, aligned with the examination content outlined by PMI, to provide a solid understanding of foundational concepts and practical insights. They will also share effective tips and strategies for exam preparation, focusing on key learning areas with regular assessments and a final mock exam to assess exam readiness.

  • Spring Cohort: Completed
  • Fall Cohort: October 23rd to December 16th 2025
