2020 December Virtual Chapter Meeting - Project Canvas

Business Acumen
Project Model Canvas: A Collaborative tool to support Project Managers on creating or validating your Project Charter

Were you assigned to a new project and don't know where to start?
You are a junior or a seasoned Project Manager searching for new ways and tools to engage your project team?
The Project Model Canvas tool is used for planning or kick off sessions to engage stakeholders and capture expectations.
In this methodology, the Project Manager will act as a facilitator to collect stakeholders' expectations and create or validate the project charter.
This tool can also support the transition from the traditional Project Management to a more Agile approach with manageable impact in team members.

PDUs for PMI 0.5 Strategic, 0.5 Technical

Learning Objectives:
At the end of the session you will:

Have a tool and a step by step methodology to engage stakeholders in the early stages of the project
Be able to organize the information collected using the PM Canvas tool that can fill in the Business Case, Project Charter and can be the foundation of the Project Plan
As the PM Canvas is a visual and collaborative tool, it will be also used to communicate the plan and control changes to the Project Scope
Ensure Stakeholders are engaged and managed by the Project Manager
