LRT Renewal project management
- This presentation is to review the development and delivery process of the LRT Renewal project.
- Vahid Ayan
- is a project manager for LRT Capital Renewal projects in the City of Edmonton, Canada. He has over 20 years experience in urban and heavy railroad projects and has worked with the City of Edmonton since 2018. He is a licensed professional transportation engineer with APEGA and holds a MBA degree from the University of Alberta.
- Hanan (Hanna) Saman
- A Professional Engineer with expertise in business strategy, solid work experience in resolving engineering & Project management challenges, excellent technical in construction, multi-disciplinary team management, project delivery and business development skills demonstrated by 20 years of experience. Currently, the Engineering Program Manager and the Supervisor oversees and manages ROW, Signals & Electrification, Traction Power Substations and LRT facilities construction projects, including the development of work plans, schedules, cost estimates, and specifications. Oversees the review of contract documents and preparation of construction management bid forms, pre-bid conferences, proposal evaluations, and negotiations with consultants and contractors. Hanan ( pronounced Hanna) brings with her a wealth of project and program management experience on transit and transportation systems. She has delivered projects for Alberta Infrastructure, managed P3 highway renewal contracts for the B.C. government, and worked with the City of Calgary for the LRT renewal program.
